Roles And Responsibilities Of Junior Safety Engineer/Safety Engineer

• Implement and monitor the EHS management system at project sites.
• Prepare, implement, and follow the EHS plan at project sites.
• Interacting with all site teams to ensure that all EHS rules and regulations are
  
  

followed at work locations at project sites.

• Reporting to the safety head or project head about site EHS issues.
• Conduct and highlight the requirement of safety through toolbox/ pep talk.
• Implement and monitor the Permit to Work System.
• Implement and Monitor the Safe Work System.
• Conduct promotional and awareness program at the workplace.
• Reporting of incident, accident, near misses, dangerous occurrences to the safety
  
  

head or project head.

• Participate and assist in the incident investigation and risk assessment program.
• Regularly inspecting work areas, equipment and processes to ensure compliance
  
  

with safety regulations.

• Conduct first-day safety induction for the new workers and staff and maintain
  
  

records.

• Ensuring adequate PPE's and safety equipment as required are available.
• Conduct and participate in campaign competitions and other special emphasis
  
  

programs to promote safety in the workplace.

• Prepare the monthly calendar and conduct the EHS training as per plan.
• Prepare and maintain the various EHS documents.
• Inspect the equipment, tools, and machinery as per the checklist and maintain the
  
  

records.
