URGENT HIRING SAFETY ENGINEER / HSE OFFICER (PEB & STRUCTURAL STEEL ERECTION)

We are urgently looking for an experienced Safety Engineer with a Civil Engineering background and practical site supervision experience in civil construction, preferably involving PEB buildings, structural steel erection and industrial structures.

Qualification & Experience:

• B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering with minimum 2 years of construction supervisory experience, OR Diploma in Civil Engineering with minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
• Recognized Degree/Diploma in Industrial Safety covering Construction Safety.
• Experience in construction site safety supervision.
• Hands-on exposure to PEB installation, structural steel erection and industrial construction is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and monitor safety during civil and structural steel construction activities.
• Ensure safety during PEB erection, lifting, rigging, crane operations and working at heights.
• Conduct risk assessments, safety inspections and toolbox talks.
• Monitor PPE compliance, work permits and safe erection procedures.
• Coordinate with site engineers, contractors and erection teams.
• Identify hazards and ensure corrective actions are implemented.

Candidate Preferences:

• Currently located in Chennai or elsewhere in Tamil Nadu.
• Able to report to the Chennai project site immediately or within 7 days.
• Capable of independently supervising construction-site safety activities.
• Practical site experience is essential.

Immediate joiners with relevant construction and steel erection experience will be given priority.
