Role & responsibilities

• Establish the HR administration framework before and during the commencement of subsidiary operations.
• Develop local recruitment channels and hire employees according to the company's staffing plan.
• Coordinate with external labor consultants, accounting firms, and payroll service providers.
• Prepare employee handbooks, HR policies, attendance procedures, and basic employment documentation.
• Support the recruitment and onboarding of production-site personnel.
• Establish communication channels between Korean management and Indian employees.
• Maintain employee records and ensure timely HR reporting to the Korean headquarters.
• Address employee concerns and support the smooth transition from initial setup to regular operations.

Preferred candidate profile

• Practical HR experience, preferably in manufacturing or production environments.
• Fluency in Tamil and good English communication skills.
• Knowledge of local recruitment practices, Indian labor laws, and HR operations.
• Experience in payroll coordination, attendance management, and employee relations.
• Experience working in Korean or foreign-affiliated companies, or supporting new company setup.
• Proficiency in MS Office with strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
