S/4HANA CPI Consultant

We are looking for an experienced S/4HANA CPI Consultant with 6-8 years of strong experience in SAP Cloud Integration (CPI) and proven exposure to end-to-end SAP S/4HANA implementation and integration projects. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in designing, developing, testing, deploying, and supporting integration solutions between SAP S/4HANA and external/cloud applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Participate in and deliver end-to-end SAP S/4HANA integration and implementation projects.
• Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into integration specifications and technical solutions.
• Design, develop, configure, test, deploy, and support integration interfaces using SAP Cloud Integration (CPI).
• Develop and maintain integration flows (iFlows) between SAP S/4HANA and external applications.
• Work extensively with SAP Integration Suite / Cloud Integration capabilities.
• Develop integrations using REST, SOAP, OData, IDoc, RFC, SFTP, HTTP, HTTPS, JDBC, and other protocols.
• Configure and manage message mappings, content modifiers, routers, filters, splitters, exception subprocesses, and transformation logic.
• Work with XML, JSON, CSV, XSD, WSDL, and other data formats.
• Develop complex message mappings using graphical mapping, functions, and scripting where required.
• Develop and maintain Groovy scripts for data transformation, custom logic, and exception handling.
• Configure authentication and security mechanisms including OAuth, certificates, credentials, and secure connectivity.
• Configure and monitor integration endpoints, security artifacts, certificates, and connectivity.
• Perform integration testing, debugging, error analysis, and performance optimization.
• Monitor production interfaces and troubleshoot integration failures and message-processing issues.
• Coordinate with SAP functional consultants, ABAP developers, business users, and third-party application teams.
• Prepare integration design documents, technical specifications, mapping documents, test cases, and deployment documentation.
• Support SIT, UAT, cutover, go-live, hypercare, and post-production support activities.
• Ensure integration solutions follow SAP standards, security guidelines, and implementation best practices.
• Participate in technical discussions, solution design, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 6-8 years of experience in SAP Integration / SAP CPI.
• Strong hands-on experience with SAP Cloud Integration (CPI).
• Proven experience in at least one or more end-to-end SAP S/4HANA implementation or integration projects.
• Strong understanding of SAP Integration Suite and Cloud Integration architecture.
• Hands-on experience developing and supporting complex iFlows.

Good to have:

• Experience with SAP Integration Suite and its capabilities beyond Cloud Integration.
• Knowledge of SAP API Management.
• Exposure to SAP Event Mesh and event-driven architecture is an advantage.
• Experience integrating S/4HANA with Success Factors, Ariba, Concur, Salesforce, Workday, or other third-party applications.
• Knowledge of SAP BTP and BTP security concepts.
• Exposure to SAP Activate methodology and S/4HANA implementation lifecycle.
• Experience with API Management, OpenAPI/Swagger, and enterprise integration patterns.
• Knowledge of SAP Fiori/OData integration is preferred.
• Experience with cloud-to-cloud and cloud-to-on-premise integrations.
• Experience working with global teams and multiple implementation partners.
