Solution Architect - 3DEXPERIENCE (3DX) ENOVIA Variant, Configuration & Change Management

3. Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Solution Architect to support FORD s engineering and product configuration initiatives. The candidate should have strong expertise in 3DEXPERIENCE (3DX) ENOVIA Variant, Configuration and Change Management domains, specifically with R2025x and subsequent releases.

The role involves understanding and aligning business requirements, designing and modeling appropriate solutions, validating prototypes with the customer, and collaborating with Dassault Syst mes (DS) R&D to address product gaps. The candidate should have a strong understanding of Modular Configuration Management best practices, including vehicle-level and module-level portfolio management and configured engineering.

4. Skills Required

4.1 Technical Competencies

• Expertise in 3DEXPERIENCE (3DX) ENOVIA Variant, Configuration and Change Management.
• Hands-on knowledge of 3DX R2025x and subsequent releases.
• Proficiency in Modular Configuration Management best practices.
• Knowledge of vehicle-level and module-level portfolio management.
• Expertise in configured engineering and solution modeling.
• Ability to document and validate Product Enhancement Requests (PERs) for product gaps.

6. Must-Have Technical Skills

• Strong expertise in 3DX ENOVIA Variant, Configuration and Change Management domains.
• Experience with R2025x and subsequent releases.
• In-depth understanding of Modular Configuration Management best practices.
• Knowledge of vehicle-level and module-level portfolio management and configured engineering.
• Experience in business requirement analysis, solution modeling and prototype validation.

7. Preferred Skills & Experience

• Experience working with automotive customers, preferably in the vehicle engineering domain.
• Experience in product configuration and change management implementations.
• Familiarity with Product Enhancement Request (PER) documentation and validation processes.
• Experience collaborating with Dassault Syst mes R&D teams to address product gaps and align on solutions.

8. Key Responsibilities

• Discuss, understand and align business requirements with the customer and relevant stakeholders.
• Support the design and modeling of solutions based on the identified business requirements.
• Validate prototyped solutions with the customer to ensure alignment with the proposed solution methodology.
• Document and validate Product Enhancement Requests (PERs) for identified product gaps.
• Work closely with Dassault Syst mes R&D to drive alignment and resolution of product gaps.
• Apply Modular Configuration Management best practices across vehicle-level and module-level portfolios.
• Provide solution architecture guidance for configured engineering and related configuration management processes.

9. Education Level & Certification

• Bachelor s or Master s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• Relevant 3DEXPERIENCE / ENOVIA certifications would be an added advantage.
