RPGLE Developer

Role Overview

• 4-8 years of hands-on experience in RPGLE

development and IBM i (AS/400) application

support.

• Strong expertise in RPGLE, CLLE, DB2/DB400,

SQL, and IBM i operating environment.

• Experience in developing, enhancing, debugging, and

maintaining business-critical applications.

• Strong knowledge of production support, incident

management, problem management, and root-

cause analysis.

• Ability to analyze complex programs, identify defects,

and implement effective and sustainable solutions.

• Experience working with job scheduling, batch

processing, data files, interfaces, and system

integrations.

• Good understanding of SDLC, change management,

code reviews, testing, and deployment processes.

• Strong communication and stakeholder-management

skills with the ability to work independently and

mentor junior engineers.
