RPA Lead

Role & responsibilities:

• Lead the design, development, deployment, and maintenance of enterprise RPA solutions across business functions.
• Own the complete automation lifecycle, from process discovery and feasibility assessment to production deployment and support.
• Design scalable and secure RPA solutions using platforms such as UiPath, Automation Anywhere, and/or Microsoft Power Automate.
• Define RPA architecture, coding standards, development frameworks, reusable components, and best practices.
• Lead a team of RPA developers, provide technical guidance, conduct code/design reviews, and mentor team members.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify automation opportunities and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Evaluate processes for automation feasibility, ROI, complexity, risks, and expected business benefits.
• Integrate RPA solutions with APIs, databases, ERP systems, CRM platforms, web applications, Excel, Citrix/VDI, and other enterprise systems.
• Implement robust exception handling, logging, monitoring, security, credential management, and recovery mechanisms.
• Manage RPA production environments, including Orchestrator/Control Room, queues, schedules, assets, credentials, and bot performance.
• Work with IT, cybersecurity, infrastructure, cloud, and application teams to ensure enterprise-grade automation.
• Drive AI-powered automation, including Generative AI, Intelligent Document Processing (IDP), OCR, NLP, and AI-assisted decision-making where appropriate.

Preferred candidate profile:

• 7 to 12 years of total IT/automation experience, with significant hands-on RPA experience.
• Strong SQL and database knowledge.
• Experience with REST/SOAP APIs, JSON, XML, web services, and system integrations.
• Programming/scripting experience in Python, C#, .NET, VB/VBA, or JavaScript is preferred.
• Experience with OCR, IDP, document processing, AI/ML, and Generative AI is highly desirable.
• Understanding of Azure/AWS/cloud environments, CI/CD, Git, DevOps, and enterprise security.
• Experience leading RPA developers/automation teams and managing multiple automation projects.
• Strong stakeholder-management and communication skills, with the ability to work with business, IT, senior management, and offshore/onshore teams.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and process-improvement skills.
• Ability to independently convert business problems into scalable automation solutions.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, MCA, or a related discipline preferred.
• Relevant certifications such as UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Microsoft Power Automate, Azure, or ITIL are an advantage.
• Willingness to work with global teams/time zones, particularly for UAE and multinational organizations.
