RPA & AI Automation Engineer

How you will achieve success:: Build and ship features for the FC App, including FC management dashboards, shift planning, slotting, roster/labor tracking, and operational workflows.

Use AI-assisted development (Cursor, Claude Code, LLM APIs, AWS Bedrock, and orchestration tools like n8n) to build quickly, while owning code quality, cost, latency, and maintainability.

Design and deploy AI-powered solutions and agents for FC operations, including multimodal document/data processing, with appropriate evals, guardrails, observability, QA, security, and documentation.

Partner with FC leadership, operators, and Tech to identify operational pain points, prioritize the automation backlog, integrate data sources (Dayforce, S&OP forecasts, 21-day plan, toolkit tables), and drive solutions through adoption and support.

Continuously expand AI and automation across FC operations, staying current with emerging technologies and communicating timelines, trade-offs, and expectations effectively with business partners.

What experiences will help you in this role: : Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.

Full-stack development and coding skills, including Python, SQL, and JavaScript/TypeScript, with the ability to integrate systems, leverage APIs, and build custom solutions beyond no-code tools.

AI-assisted and agentic development experience, including Cursor, Claude Code, LLMs, prompt engineering, AI agents, APIs, and ideally evals, observability/tracing, guardrails, MCP servers, or orchestration tools such as n8n/Agent SDK.

Strong business partnership and delivery skills, with the ability to translate operational needs into software, scope opportunities, iterate quickly based on feedback, and deliver results with increasing independence.

Self-motivated and adaptable, comfortable working in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment; fulfillment, operations, or e-commerce experience is a plus.

This is a remote position and requires candidates to have an available work-from-home setup Desktop/Laptop system requirements: - 4th generation or higher, at least Intel i3 or equivalent processor; - at least 4GB RAM; - Windows 10 and above or MAC OSX operating system  - You are required to provide your own dual monitors A strong and stable internet connection (A DSL, cable or fiber wired internet service with 10 Mbps plan or higher for primary connection) PC Headset A high-definition (HD) external or integrated webcam with at least 720p resolution.
