JOB SUMMARY

Ekta Farm Stay, Pollachi, is looking for a responsible, hardworking, well-mannered, and service-oriented Room Attendant / Housekeeping Assistant to maintain the cleanliness and presentation of rooms and common areas and to provide a pleasant experience to guests.

The selected candidate will be responsible for cleaning and arranging rooms, preparing beds, maintaining housekeeping standards, assisting guests, welcoming guests, and handling welcome gifts/items professionally.

The candidate must have a valid driving licence and should be willing to assist with driving-related requirements when required for farm stay operations.

2. KEY RESPONSIBILITIESA. Room Cleaning & Housekeeping

• Clean and maintain all guest rooms regularly.
• Sweep, mop, dust, and maintain rooms to a high standard of cleanliness.
• Clean bathrooms, washrooms, and other room facilities.
• Change and arrange bedsheets, pillow covers, blankets, towels, and other linen as required.
• Properly arrange beds and ensure rooms are ready before guest arrival.
• Replenish toiletries, drinking water, towels, and other room requirements.
• Check rooms regularly and immediately report maintenance issues or damages.
• Maintain cleanliness of corridors, common areas, and other designated areas.
• Keep housekeeping materials and equipment clean and properly organized.
• Ensure every room is neat, clean, fresh, and welcoming.

B. Guest Service

• Welcome guests in a polite, friendly, and professional manner.
• Assist guests with their basic requirements during their stay.
• Provide prompt and courteous service.
• Assist guests with luggage or other reasonable requirements when necessary.
• Ensure guests receive a comfortable and pleasant experience.
• Respond to guest requests respectfully.
• Escalate guest concerns or special requirements to the management.
• Maintain guest privacy and confidentiality.
• Handle guest belongings and property with care.

C. Welcome & Guest Preparation

• Prepare rooms before guest arrival.
• Ensure beds, towels, toiletries, drinking water, and other required items are properly arranged.
• Assist in preparing and presenting welcome gifts / welcome kits to guests.
• Ensure welcome items are properly placed and presented.
• Assist the management with special guest arrangements when required.

D. Driving Responsibilities

• Candidate must possess a valid driving licence.
• Drive safely and responsibly whenever assigned.
• Assist with local transportation, errands, grocery collection, or other official requirements when required.
• Maintain basic cleanliness and care of the assigned vehicle.
• Follow all traffic rules and safety requirements.
• Driving duties will be assigned based on operational requirements.

3. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Previous experience in housekeeping, room service, hotels, resorts, farm stays, guest houses, or hospitality is preferred.
• Residential housekeeping experience will also be considered.
• Valid driving licence is mandatory.
• Should be physically fit and capable of performing regular housekeeping duties.
• Good personal hygiene and grooming standards are required.
• Basic communication skills are required.
• Knowledge of Tamil will be an added advantage.
• Knowledge of Hindi and/or English will be an advantage.
• Should be willing to learn and adapt to the work environment.
• Candidates willing to relocate to Pollachi are preferred.

6. CANDIDATE PREFERENCE

Candidates from all parts of India are welcome to apply.

Candidates from North India are encouraged to apply, particularly those with previous experience in hotels, resorts, farm stays, guest houses, housekeeping, or hospitality services.

Knowledge of Tamil will be an added advantage but is not mandatory.

Candidates who are willing to relocate to Pollachi, Tamil Nadu, and stay at the provided accommodation are preferred.
