Robotics Specialist

About the Role We are seeking an experienced Senior ROS Developer with mandatory expertise in Vision-Language-Action (VLA) systems to develop next-generation humanoid robots capable of autonomous perception, reasoning, and manipulation. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with ROS/ROS2, robot software architecture, AI integration, and deployment of VLA models for real-world robotic applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain robotic applications using ROS/ROS2 for humanoid robots.
• Design and integrate Vision-Language-Action (VLA) models for autonomous robot perception, decision-making, and manipulation.
• Deploy and optimize VLA frameworks for real-world robotic tasks.
• Integrate multimodal AI models with robot control pipelines.
• Develop software for navigation, manipulation, locomotion, and autonomous behaviors.
• Integrate LiDAR, RGB-D cameras, stereo cameras, IMUs, force/torque sensors, and robotic actuators.
• Build robot perception pipelines using Computer Vision and sensor fusion techniques.
• Develop motion planning and control algorithms using MoveIt, ROS Control, and related frameworks.
• Perform simulation and validation using Gazebo, Isaac Sim, MuJoCo, or similar simulation environments.
• Optimize robotic software for real-time execution on Linux-based systems.
• Collaborate with AI/ML, Computer Vision, Embedded, Electronics, and Mechanical Engineering teams.
• Troubleshoot software and hardware integration issues and maintain technical documentation.

Mandatory Skills

• 5+ years of experience in ROS/ROS2 development.
• Hands-on experience with Vision-Language-Action (VLA) models is mandatory.
• Experience deploying VLA models on real robotic platforms.
• Strong programming skills in C++ and Python.
• Solid understanding of Linux (Ubuntu) development.
• Experience with robot perception, manipulation, navigation, and autonomous systems.
• Strong knowledge of robot kinematics, dynamics, motion planning, and control.
• Experience integrating cameras, LiDAR, IMU, motor controllers, and other robotic sensors.
• Experience with MoveIt, RViz, TF2, URDF/Xacro, ROS Control, and ROS middleware.
• Familiarity with simulation tools such as Gazebo, Isaac Sim, or MuJoCo.
• Experience with Git and collaborative software development workflows.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with multimodal foundation models and embodied AI.
• Knowledge of robot learning, imitation learning, reinforcement learning, or behavior cloning.
• Experience with Computer Vision frameworks such as OpenCV.
• Experience with NVIDIA Isaac Lab, Isaac ROS, TensorRT, CUDA, or GPU acceleration.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with industrial communication protocols such as EtherCAT or CANOpen.

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Electronics, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Experience Candidates with experience working on Humanoid Robotics, Embodied AI, Vision-Language-Action (VLA) architectures, and real-world autonomous robotic systems will be given preference.
