Robotic Engineer - Humanoid Robotics (Hardware & Software)

N2 Global Services Pvt Ltd is looking for enthusiastic and technically skilled Robotics Engineers to work on humanoid robotics, robotic hardware integration, programming, testing, and deployment. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in assembling, configuring, programming, and troubleshooting physical robotic systems, along with a strong interest in robotics, automation, and AI-driven applications.

The role involves working with mechanical assemblies, motors, actuators, sensors, cameras, embedded controllers, and robotics software platforms. The candidate will also support robotics demonstrations, technical training, and the development of practical robotics applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble, configure, integrate, and test humanoid robots and other robotic systems.
• Work with mechanical assemblies, motors, actuators, sensors, cameras, controllers, wiring, and power systems.
• Perform hardware integration, robot calibration, functional testing, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Develop, configure, and test robotics applications using Python and/or C++.
• Program robot movements, actions, and functionalities using manufacturer-provided SDKs and APIs.
• Work with ROS/ROS 2 wherever supported by the robotic platform.
• Integrate sensors, cameras, embedded controllers, and AI-based applications where supported.
• Identify and resolve mechanical, electrical, electronic, and software integration issues.
• Follow robotics hardware handling, electrical safety, and operational procedures.
• Conduct hands-on robotics training, technical demonstrations, and practical sessions on robot assembly, programming, and operation.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, setup guides, configuration records, testing reports, and troubleshooting procedures.
• Collaborate with technical teams to improve robot functionality, reliability, and overall performance.

Required Skills

• Hands-on knowledge of robotics hardware, robot assembly, and system integration.
• Understanding of mechanical and electronic components, including motors, actuators, sensors, cameras, controllers, and power systems.
• Programming knowledge in Python and/or C++.
• Familiarity with robotics SDKs, APIs, and robot control interfaces.
• Basic working knowledge of Linux/Ubuntu.
• Understanding of hardware-software integration, testing, calibration, and troubleshooting.
• Ability to diagnose technical issues and implement practical solutions.
• Good communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts during demonstrations and training sessions.

Desired Candidate Profile

• 1-3 years of relevant experience in robotics, humanoid robotics, mechatronics, industrial automation, embedded systems, or robotics development.
• Degree or Diploma in Robotics, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Embedded Systems, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• Practical experience assembling, configuring, operating, and troubleshooting physical robotic systems.
• Familiarity with programming robots and integrating hardware components with software applications.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and a hands-on approach to engineering.
• Interest in technical training, robotics demonstrations, and knowledge sharing.
• Willingness to work full-time from the company's office in Padur/Kazhipattur, OMR, Chennai.

Candidates with any of the following skills or experience will have an advantage:

• Hands-on experience with humanoid robots or quadruped robots.
• Experience with ROS or ROS 2.
• Knowledge of embedded systems, microcontrollers, and hardware interfacing.
• Experience with NVIDIA Jetson, OpenCV, computer vision, or AI/ML integration.
• Experience working with robotic arms, motion control, or autonomous robotic systems.
• Experience conducting robotics workshops, technical demonstrations, or hands-on training.
• A portfolio of robotics projects, GitHub repositories, project reports, or demonstration videos.

Educational Qualifications

Degree or Diploma in any of the following or a related field:
