About this role
Robotics & Automation Application Engineer
Experience: 2 to 6 Years
Location: Mumbai
Qualification: B.E./B.Tech/Diploma Mechatronics, Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation.
EVIO is looking for a hands-on Robotics & Automation Application Engineer to develop and commission robotic automation solutions for Indian industries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Robot programming and commissioning for machine tending, palletizing, welding, pick & place, assembly and material handling.
- PLC-robot integration, preferably Siemens TIA Portal / S7-1200 / S7-1500.
- Integration of servo drives, VFDs, sensors, HMI, safety systems and industrial networks.
- Basic integration of machine vision systems with robots and PLCs.
- Develop robotic prototypes, proof-of-concept applications and customer demonstrations.
- Robot selection, cycle-time studies, troubleshooting and optimization.
- Site installation, commissioning, FAT/SAT and customer support.
- Willingness to travel across India.
Preferred Experience: FANUC, KUKA & Yaskawa,.
Ideal Candidate: A practical, self-driven engineer with strong troubleshooting skills and genuine interest in robotics, industrial automation and new application development
