Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for operation, programming, teaching, setup, and optimization of robotic welding systems.
• Develop and modify robotic welding programs to achieve required quality, productivity, and cycle time.
• Handle MIG/MAG robotic welding processes and optimize welding parameters.
• Perform robot teaching, point setting, parameter adjustment, and program correction.
• Troubleshoot robot, welding equipment, fixture, sensor, and communication-related issues.
• Monitor robot cycle time, downtime, rejection, rework, and OEE.
• Analyze welding defects such as porosity, undercut, spatter, burn-through, and lack of fusion and take corrective actions.
• Coordinate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, Tool Room, and NPD teams.
• Support new product development, robot trials, fixture validation, and production ramp-up.
• Drive improvements to reduce cycle time, rejection, breakdown, and manual intervention.
• Prepare and maintain SOPs, work instructions, welding parameter sheets, and robot programs.
• Ensure compliance with safety, 5S, quality, and standard operating procedures.
