About this role

Role: Industrial Robot Programmer / Commissioning Engineer
Industry: Robotics & Industrial Automation
We are looking for a hands-on Industrial Robot Programmer with 34 years of experience in programming, commissioning, troubleshooting and integration of industrial robots across multiple applications and robot brands.
Key Responsibilities
- Industrial robot programming, commissioning and troubleshooting.
- Experience in Material Handling, Spot Welding, Arc Welding, Machine Tending, Pick & Place, Palletizing, Assembly, Dispensing, Spraying/Painting, Grinding/Finishing and other robotic applications.
- Hands-on programming experience with multiple robot brands such as Kawasaki, ABB, FANUC, KUKA, Yaskawa/Motoman or equivalent.
- Robot TCP/tool calibration, mastering, work-object/user-frame setup and robot path optimization.
- Robot–PLC communication, I/O mapping, interlocks and peripheral equipment integration.
- Integration with welding equipment, grippers, positioners, conveyors, sensors and other automation systems.
- Robot reachability, interference checking and cycle-time optimization.
- Robot program backup, recovery and documentation.
- Troubleshooting robot alarms, positioning errors, collisions, I/O/communication issues and application-related problems.
- Support FAT, SAT, production trials and customer-site commissioning.
- Coordinate with Mechanical, Electrical, PLC, Simulation and Project teams for complete automation system integration.
- Prepare robot programs, commissioning reports, I/O lists, backups and technical documentation.
- Willingness to travel to customer sites across India and work during commissioning schedules.
