Road Load Data & Durability Analysis Engineer

We are seeking a highly analytical engineer to join our Durability team in Pune, India. The successful candidate will collaborate with international team on road load data acquisition analysis, data quality management, and durability assessment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for processing and analyzing RLDA data, identifying and correcting deviations, calculating durability coefficients, performing comparative analyses with reference datasets and derivation of accelerated durability patterns for DUTs.

Key Responsibilities

• RLDA data analysis and processing
• Detection and repair of data deviations (spikes, drifts or deviations)
• Calculation of durability coefficients
• Comparative analysis with reference data
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of durability test specifications and methodologies.
• Prepare engineering reports and present technical conclusions to international stakeholders.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives related to data analysis automation and reporting tools

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Automotive Engineering, Mechatronics or related field
• Experience with road load data acquisition or vehicle dynamics data analysis
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in data analysis tools (Python, MATLAB, or similar)
• Knowledge in durability data tools (HBK nCode, MTS cRPC, Siemens TestLab, or similar)
• Knowledge of durability testing and validation
• Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal)

Preferred Skills

• 2-3 years experience on topics related to the following areas:
• Experience with signal processing and filtering techniques and key durability kpis
• Familiarity with automotive testing standards including durability and vehicle dynamics performances
• Knowledge of statistical analysis methods
• Experience with data visualization tools
