Risk Management Professional

The role will support the CRO in the design, implementation, monitoring, and enhancement of the Company's Enterprise Risk Management framework. The incumbent will play a key role in operational risk management, fraud risk oversight, early warning signal (EWS) framework development, ICAAP, outsourcing risk management, and Board-level risk reporting. This role offers significant exposure to senior leadership and provides an opportunity to contribute meaningfully to the evolution of the Company's risk management practices.

The candidate will have responsibilities across the following functions:

Enterprise Risk Management (ERM):

• Support the implementation and enhancement of the ERM framework.
• Monitor key risk indicators (KRIs) and risk appetite metrics across units.
• Conduct risk assessments and facilitate periodic risk reviews with business and support functions.

Operational Risk Management:

• Support implementation and enhancement of the Operational Risk Framework.
• Conduct Risk and Control Self-Assessments (RCSA) across functions.
• Monitor operational loss events and emerging operational risks.
• Assess adequacy and effectiveness of controls and identify opportunities for process improvements

Fraud Risk Management:

• Assist in developing and enhancing the Fraud Risk Management Framework.
• Monitor fraud trends and emerging fraud typologies across products and channels.
• Coordinate with business, operations, technology, investigations, and audit teams to
• conduct root cause analysis ( RCA) and strengthen fraud prevention controls.
• Develop fraud-related MIS and dashboards for senior management review.

Early Warning Signal (EWS) Framework:

• Design and monitor Early Warning Signal frameworks for Retail and Corporate portfolio.
• Identify leading indicators of stress and emerging portfolio risks.
• Work with Credit and Business teams to ensure timely intervention and risk mitigation.
• Analyse portfolio, sectoral and macro developments impacting asset quality.
• Develop periodic EWS reports for management and Board-level review.

ICAAP and Risk Governance:

• Support the preparation and periodic review of Internal Capital Adequacy Assessment Process (ICAAP) documentation.
• Assist in material assessment, stress testing, scenario analysis, and capital planning exercises.
• Coordinate across teams (Finance, Compliance, Business, etc. ) for related activities.

Outsourcing Risk Management:

• Support implementation and monitoring of the Outsourcing Risk Management
• Framework in compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Review outsourcing arrangements to identify concentration, operational, cyber, and business continuity risks.

CRO's Office and Board Reporting:

• Prepare risk dashboards and presentations for Executive Management, Risk Management Committee, and Board Risk Committee.
• Coordinate risk governance meetings and track closure of action items.
• Support cross-functional strategic initiatives impacting the risk function.

Requirements:

• CA, MBA (Finance) or risk-related qualifications from a reputed institution.
• 5-7 years of relevant experience in Risk Management within an NBFC, Bank or Financial Services organisation.
• Experience with risk appetite framework, KRIs, and preparing Board and Risk presentations.
• Strong Analytical, communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to engage with senior leadership and engage with diverse stakeholders.
