Roles and Responsibilities
Take ownership of technology risk and compliance across engineering, platform, and product teams, ensuring systems and processes meet regulatory and security requirements.
- Manage and prepare the organization for regulatory compliance and certifications such as DPDP, GDPR, ISO 27001, SOC, and other relevant standards.
- Establish and oversee ITGC (IT General Controls) including access management, change management, system logging, and operational controls.
- Coordinate VAPT (Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing) activities, work with security vendors, and ensure vulnerabilities are tracked and resolved in a timely manner.
- Support and manage technology audits by working with internal teams and external auditors to ensure readiness and timely closure of audit findings.
- Develop and maintain technology policies, compliance guidelines, and governance practices aligned with industry standards and company requirements.
- Work closely with engineering, DevOps, infrastructure, and security teams to ensure secure and compliant system design and operations.
- Maintain and track risk registers, compliance gaps, and remediation plans, ensuring issues are addressed and closed efficiently.
- Review new systems, integrations, and technology changes to ensure risk assessment and compliance checks are completed before implementation.
- Monitor adherence to data protection and information security practices, ensuring company and user data is handled responsibly.
- Provide regular reports and insights to leadership on compliance status, audit progress, and technology risk areas.
- Help build a stronger technology governance culture, ensuring compliance and security are embedded into everyday engineering practices.
Preferred qualifications
Any graduate with minimum 10 plus years of experience
