Risk Analyst

Role & responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain daily, weekly and monthly MIS reports for the Risk function.
• Analyze Home Loan (HL) and Loan Against Property (LAP) portfolios, including disbursement, delinquency, bounce and collection trends.
• Develop and maintain dashboards using Advanced Excel and Power BI.
• Prepare management presentations and risk review reports using PowerPoint.
• Track portfolio performance across products, branches, regions and customer segments.
• Identify trends, exceptions and early warning indicators through data analysis.
• Ensure data accuracy, timely reporting and continuous improvement in MIS processes.

Preferred candidate profile

• Graduate in Commerce, Finance, Statistics or related discipline.
• 2-3 years of relevant experience in MIS, reporting or analytics
• Prior experience in NBFC / HFC / Banking, preferably Home Loans or LAP; will be an added advantage.
• Understanding of lending portfolio metrics and delinquency reporting will be an added advantage.

Role Objective: Support the Risk Analytics team through accurate MIS reporting, insightful portfolio analysis and effective management dashboards to enable data-driven risk decisions.

Required Skills

Advanced Excel: Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, formulas, data analysis and reporting.

PowerPoint: Professional presentations and management reporting.
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets.

Good communication and reporting skills.
Power BI: Dashboard development, data visualization and basic DAX. ( if know, good)
