Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Rework Technician with hands-on experience in PCB/PCBA rework, component replacement, soldering, and defect identification. The ideal candidate should have experience handling miniature electronic components and advanced packages such as 0201 or smaller, BGA, and LGA.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform PCB/PCBA rework, component replacement, soldering, desoldering, and PCB repair.
• Identify and troubleshoot PCB assembly defects through visual inspection and appropriate tools.
• Handle miniature components, including 0201 or smaller packages, with precision.
• Perform rework on BGA, LGA, QFN, QFP, and other fine-pitch components.
• Use microscopes, soldering stations, and specialized PCB rework equipment.
• Identify defects such as solder bridges, insufficient solder, tombstoning, open circuits, shorts, and component misalignment.
• Inspect repaired boards to ensure workmanship and quality standards.
• Follow IPC workmanship standards, ESD precautions, and approved rework procedures.
• Maintain rework records and coordinate with Production and Quality teams for defect analysis and corrective actions.
• Maintain workstation cleanliness and follow 5S and component-handling requirements.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• 2 - 3 years of hands-on experience in PCB/PCBA rework or electronics manufacturing.
• ITI or Diploma in Electronics, Electrical, or a related discipline.
• IPC training and good knowledge of IPC workmanship standards.
• Strong hands-on experience with 0201 or smaller components, BGA, and LGA packages.
• Good soldering, desoldering, and fine-pitch component handling skills.
• Experience using microscopes and PCB rework equipment.
• Knowledge of ESD safety, PCB inspection, and soldering defect identification.
