Govisan is an international engineering consultancy specialising in ICT, ELV and technology systems for hospitality and other high-end building projects. Our India team works closely with colleagues and project teams in Europe, supporting projects from design development through to detailed documentation.

We are looking for a Revit & BIM Specialist to strengthen our India design team and support the development of our BIM capabilities.

This is a technical engineering role focused on ICT/ELV projects, not an architectural BIM position. developing Revit models and documentation from 2D CAD drawings, engineering information and mark-ups.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and update Revit models for ICT/ELV systems based on 2D drawings, CAD backgrounds and engineering information.
• Produce plans, sections, details, sheets and other BIM documentation.
• Manage Revit views, linked files, families, templates and project standards.
• Work with CAD and Revit in parallel, transferring and adapting information between both environments.
• Provide CAD support including XREFs, blocks, layers, title blocks, scales and drawing standards.
• Continue producing schematic and technical drawings in AutoCAD where appropriate.
• Collaborate with engineering teams in India and Europe.
• Perform basic model and documentation quality checks.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of relevant professional experience in Revit/BIM and technical documentation.
• Strong practical knowledge of Autodesk Revit.
• Strong professional knowledge of AutoCAD.
• Experience creating Revit models from 2D drawings, CAD backgrounds or engineering mark-ups.
• Experience working with both CAD and Revit workflows.
• Good understanding of technical engineering drawings and BIM documentation.
• Good English communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.

Desirable

• Experience with ICT, ELV, Electrical, MEP or building-services projects.
• Experience working on hospitality, commercial or high-end building projects.
• Experience with Navisworks or BIM coordination workflows.
• Experience with Autodesk Construction Cloud / BIM 360.
• Experience creating Revit families and developing project templates.
