Retail Store Manager

Role & responsibilities:

Manage one of our Samsung Flagship stores in Chandigarh / Mohali end to end, covering sales, customer experience, staff, stock, cash and daily reporting to HQ.

• Deliver monthly store targets for sales value, product mix, attach rates (accessories, Samsung Care+, consumer finance) and buyback/exchange volumes.
• Lead from the floor: engage walk-in customers, close high-value sales (Galaxy foldables and flagships, AI TVs, appliances) and handle escalations.
• Manage, roster and train store staff and Samsung SECs; ensure on-time opening/closing and proper shift cover.
• Daily cash and collections: reconcile cash, UPI, card, finance and buyback receipts and send the Daily Sale & Collection report to HQ the same day.
• Ensure every sale is correctly billed in E-POS with invoice and proof scans uploaded on time.
• Inventory control: daily stock checks, IMEI-level tracking, demo unit management and sale at approved prices, inter-branch transfers.
• Execute buyback/exchange correctly, with documentation and handover to HQ.
• Maintain visual merchandising, launch readiness and display standards per Samsung guidelines; coordinate with Samsung teams.
• Drive local footfall through society/corporate activations, lead follow-ups and Google reviews.

Preferred candidate profile:

• Graduate; MBA/PGDM in Retail is a plus.
• 38 years in retail, with at least 2 years as Store Manager / Assistant Store Manager in mobiles or consumer electronics (Samsung, Apple, Vivo, Oppo, Croma, Reliance Digital preferred).
• Proven ownership of store targets/P&L; strong with cash and numbers.
• Comfortable with Excel/Google Sheets and POS billing; Tally knowledge is an advantage.
• Able to lead a team of 5–10 with discipline and good conduct; fluent in Hindi and English, Punjabi preferred.
• Willing to work retail hours including weekends and to move between tricity stores if required.
