Retail Planner

Job Description

Head Retail Planner and merchandiser drives sales plan through a consistent focus on studying the business, monitoring inventory and sales performance. Track sales performance of existing products, in-season forecasts and future merchandise plans. Manages merchandising and allocations, to optimize store assortments. Ensure that the merchandise financial targets are met including tracking and managing the open-to-buy sales and inventory.

Merchandise retail Planner-KRAs

• Manage the OTB sales and inventory and ensure that the merchandise targets will be met on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis
  
  

-Plans and forecasts for future merchandise buy based on-

• Historical data
• Reccuring buys
• Current inventory levels
• Responsible for reviewing stock to sales ratio and revising MBQs.
• Prepare and respond to changing sales trends.
• Ensures planned sales, planned markups and markdown are achieved.
• Maintains data in merchandising systems.
• Ensures planned merchandise flow.
• proactive approach to address varainces against planned objective
  
  

Work Experience: 10 to 15 years with atleast 3 years at same level

Industry: Soft furnishing/ Clothing industry/ Retail
