Retail Pharmacist

Role & responsibilities

• Dispense medicines accurately against prescriptions, checking dosage, interactions, and patient safety at every step.
• Own store-level inventory: stock checks, expiry tracking, and reordering so a customer never hears "out of stock"
• Guide customers on medicine usage, dosage, and basic health queries with clarity and care
• Keep the store running to Plazza's compliance and regulatory standards, every single day
• Work with operations and the central team to flag stock-outs, share feedback, and improve the Lifestore experience

Preferred candidate profile

• B.Pharm/D.Pharm/Pharm.D/M.Pharm degree with a valid state Pharmacy Council registration (KSPC Preferred)
• 1-3 years of retail pharmacy experience preferred; freshers with a valid registration are welcome to apply
• Meticulous attention to detail.
• A misread prescription is one too many
• Strong communication skills in English, Hindi and Kannada; comfortable explaining medicine usage directly to customers

Comfortable with technology and quick to pick up new tools, including POS and inventory systems
