Restaurant General Manager

Location: Edupugallu, near Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh

Pepper Square is a restaurant in Edupugallu, near Vijayawada, with indoor, outdoor and poolside dining. We are looking for a hands-on Restaurant General Manager who can take ownership of operations, build a dependable team and improve sales, profitability and the guest experience.

You will report to the owner and lead a team of approximately 40 to 60 employees. This role offers responsibility for the full restaurant operation and the opportunity to make a measurable impact on the business.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

- Lead daily restaurant operations and coordinate service, kitchen, stores and housekeeping.

- Grow repeat visits and sales through consistent service, local business opportunities and well-executed events and promotions, in coordination with the owner.

- Track sales, food and beverage costs, labour costs, purchasing, inventory and wastage; present clear performance reports and improvement actions.

- Recruit, train and retain staff; build effective rosters, service standards and accountability.

- Work with the kitchen team on preparation, portion consistency, availability and timely service.

- Resolve guest concerns, improve feedback and maintain hygiene and food-safety practices.

- Develop and discuss a practical first-90-day plan with the owner.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

- Strong experience in restaurant or hotel food-and-beverage operations, with a track record of managing a restaurant team and taking responsibility for operating results.

- Preferably 7+ years in hospitality, including at least 2 years in restaurant management or a comparable leadership role. Exceptional candidates with demonstrated results are welcome.

- Evidence of improving revenue, controlling costs, recruiting staff and maintaining service standards.

- Experience with a full-service restaurant or a comparable operation; ability to coordinate both kitchen and front-of-house teams.

- Willingness to work on-site in Edupugallu. Applicants willing to relocate are welcome; food and accommodation are provided.

- Hotel management or hospitality education is preferred. Relevant operating experience and results are essential.
