Resource Management Planner

Role & responsibilities

• Resource planning: Plan and allocate employees based on project requirements, skills, availability, and experience.
• Demand and supply management: Track project demand, available capacity, and upcoming resource requirements.
• Resource utilization: Monitor billable and non-billable utilization, bench strength, and resource deployment.
• Forecasting: Maintain weekly and monthly resource forecasts and identify potential shortages or excess capacity.
• Stakeholder coordination: Work with project managers, delivery managers, HR, recruitment, and resource management teams.
• Bench management: Track available resources and identify suitable deployment opportunities.
• Reporting and analytics: Prepare dashboards and reports covering utilization, demand, supply, allocation, and resource gaps.
• Data management: Maintain accurate resource databases, allocation records, skills inventories, and planning trackers.
• Risk identification: Highlight resource conflicts, over-allocation, underutilization, and upcoming project staffing risks.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in resource management, workforce planning, project coordination, or capacity planning.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including PivotTables, lookups, and reporting.
• Knowledge of Power BI, Tableau, or resource planning tools is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple project requirements and changing priorities.
• Understanding of utilization, billability, demand, supply, and bench management metrics.
• Required experience 6-8 yrs .
