Research Scientist

Jubilant Biosys is looking for Research Scientist - Medicinal Chemistry Educational Qualification: Ph.D (Organic Chemistry) with Post-doc research experience Experience required:

• Experience in a drug discovery industry or Post-doc experience from a reputed institute (2-6 years).
• Ability to manage processes of maturing a target candidate from Hit finding to LO using different techniques and skills like triaging high throughput screening hits, rational drug design, chemical tools and structure-based design.
• Should have peer reviewed publications and presentations in areas related to drug discovery Key responsibilities:
• Design and execute multi-step organic synthesis reactions.
• Develop and optimize synthetic routes for targeted compounds.
• Characterize organic molecules using spectroscopic techniques (NMR, IR, MS, etc.).
• Analyze and interpret research data, maintaining accurate laboratory records.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.
• Stay informed about the latest developments in organic chemistry through literature review.
• Mentor junior team members and provide guidance on synthetic challenges.
• Prepare scientific reports, presentations, and publications.
• Contribute to intellectual property development and follow IPR guidelines
