About the Opportunity:

Boditech Med India Private Limited is establishing a new Protein Engineering & Recombinant Materials R&D Laboratory in Haryana to support the company's diagnostic R&D activities and expand its recombinant protein development capabilities. We are looking for two motivated and hands-on Research Scientists with experience in recombinant protein technology to join this new R&D initiative. This is an opportunity to be part of a new laboratory from its establishment stage, working closely with the experienced Protein Engineering R&D team at BoditechMed Korea HQ.

1. Key Responsibilities:

• Recombinant protein expression using E. coli
• Protein purification using chromatography and related techniques
• Protein concentration and buffer exchange
• Basic protein characterization and quality assessment
• Optimization of protein expression and purification conditions
• Molecular biology and recombinant DNA techniques
• Experimental planning, execution, and troubleshooting
• Documentation and interpretation of experimental results
• Execution of R&D projects assigned in coordination with the Korea HQ R&D team

1. Required Qualifications:

• Master's degree (M.Sc. / M.Tech. / M.S.) in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Life Sciences, or a related discipline
• Minimum 2 years of relevant laboratory/research experience
• Practical experience in recombinant protein expression and/or purification
• Strong hands-on laboratory skills
• Good experimental documentation and data interpretation skills
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with an international R&D team

1. Preferred Technical Experience:

Experience in one or more of the following areas will be an advantage:

• E. coli culture and recombinant protein expression
• Affinity chromatography
• FPLC / protein purification systems
• SDS-PAGE and Western blotting
• Molecular cloning and PCR
• DNA manipulation and plasmid preparation
• Protein concentration and buffer exchange
• Protein characterization and optimization

1. Korea HQ Training & Career Development:

Selected Research Scientists will receive hands-on training at BoditechMed Korea HQ before the India laboratory begins full operation. The training will include:

• E. coli recombinant protein expression
• Protein purification and downstream processing
• Practical laboratory protocols and workflows
• Experimental troubleshooting and optimization
• R&D documentation and data management
• BoditechMed's R&D standards and working practices

Following completion of the training, researchers will return to India and participate in establishing and operating the new R&D laboratory.

1. Korea–India R&D Collaboration:

The India laboratory will operate as an integrated extension of the BoditechMed Korea HQ R&D organization.

Korea HQ:

• R&D project selection and technical direction
• Technology transfer and training
• Technical review and troubleshooting
• Protocol and quality standard development
• India R&D Team:
• Experimental execution
• Recombinant protein expression
• Purification and characterization
• Data generation and reporting
• Development of local R&D capabilities

As the laboratory develops, additional technologies and expression systems may be introduced according to project requirements.
