Role Description The Research Scholar (CSE) role is a full-time, on-site position based in Tiruvallur. The role involves conducting high-quality research in Computer Science and Engineering, including literature review, problem formulation, model or algorithm development, implementation, and experimental evaluation. The Research Scholar will contribute to publications in reputable conferences and journals, assist in drafting project proposals and reports, and collaborate with faculty, students, and external partners on ongoing research projects. Responsibilities also include participating in seminars and workshops, supporting limited teaching or lab assistance as required, and maintaining proper documentation and dissemination of research outcomes.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Computer Science and Engineering, including core concepts such as algorithms, data structures, operating systems, computer networks, and programming.
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages (such as C/C++, Java, Python) and familiarity with relevant development tools and environments.
• Demonstrated research aptitude, including the ability to conduct literature surveys, identify research gaps, and design methodologically sound studies.
• Experience with data analysis, experimental design, or simulation tools commonly used in CSE research.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare technical reports, manuscripts, and presentations.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary research environment and manage time and responsibilities independently.
• Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field; enrollment in or eligibility for a Ph.D. program is an advantage.
• Prior publication in peer-reviewed conferences or journals, and exposure to funded research projects, will be considered beneficial.
