Research & Development Manager

Position Title: R&D Manager - NPD

Purpose of the Position (Job Summary) :

To Drive new product development (NPD), product improvement, and process optimization by conducting research, trials, and evaluations. The role focuses on developing innovative, safe, and high-quality food products that meet consumer expectations, regulatory requirements, and business objectives while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product commercialization.

• Support cost optimization and efficient utilization of resources.
• Monitor and control expenses related to departmental activities.
• Assist in achieving financial targets through effective planning and execution.
• Ensure proper documentation and reporting.
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through quality and timely delivery.
• Brand Reputation through Robost Product Pipeline.
• Follow company policies, SOPs, and quality standards.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and support implementation.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
• Lead, mentor, and develop team members to achieve departmental and organizational objectives.
• Allocate responsibilities and monitor team performance to ensure timely completion of tasks.

EXPERIENCE:

• 7 to 9 years of experience in FMCG / Food processing industry Proven experience in people management, cross-functional coordination, and project execution.

• Experience in brownfield and/or greenfield expansion projects will be preferred.

• Strong exposure to process improvement, cost optimization, quality systems, and business growth initiatives.

• Experience in handling audits, regulatory compliance, and stakeholder management is desirable.
