Research Associate

Role & responsibilities

- Track live market signals industry trends, hiring trends, target markets, competitors, expansions, funding news across sectors

- Identify and research potential B2B clients through LinkedIn, Google and other online channels

- Generate qualified leads for target sectors

- Build and maintain prospect databases with accurate contact and company information

- Conduct outbound prospecting through cold emails, cold calling and LinkedIn outreach

- Understand prospects business requirements and identify potential opportunities

- Schedule client meetings and prepare pre-meeting research decks for client pitches for BD team

- Support real-time data pulls during live deal conversations

- Follow up with prospects regularly and maintain lead status in CRM

- Work closely with BD team to convert qualified leads into business opportunities

- Track daily/weekly lead generation activities and achieve assigned targets

Preferred candidate profile

• Strong communication skills — spoken and written English
• Working knowledge of LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Naukri, or similar B2B research tools
• Proficient in MS Excel and PowerPoint
• Ability to research and turn around accurate information quickly, under time pressure
