Job Title: R&D Associate-API

Location: Kolkata
Experience: 0-5 Years
Qualification: PhD/M.Sc. (Organic Chemistry)

Job Description:

• Perform multi-step organic synthesis for API/intermediates
• Optimize reaction conditions to improve yield, purity, and cost
• Support scale-up activities from lab to pilot/plant level
• Prepare batch documents, SOPs, and development reports
• Coordinate with Production, QA, and QC for smooth tech transfer
• Troubleshoot process issues during manufacturing
• Ensure compliance with cGMP, GLP, and safety standards
• Interpret analytical data (HPLC, GC, NMR)

Key Skills:

• Organic synthesis & reaction mechanisms
• API process development / scale-up
• Analytical techniques (HPLC, GC, NMR)
• cGMP & documentation practices
• Problem-solving and plant support

Preferred:

• Experience in API / Pharma manufacturing
• Exposure to technology transfer & validation batches
