Key Roles & Responsibilities

Annual Research and Evaluation Plan

1. Alignment of the annual plan with the project design, LFA, and ToC for various projects.

2. Track the project input and output as per the MERA annual plan.

3. Use checklist methods (before, during, and after plans) for each research and evaluation activity

4. Submit weekly or monthly reports on project performance and key insights and gaps.

Operational support for research and evaluation plan implementation

1. Adherence to the project-specific planner and coordination with different stakeholders for timely

execution.

2. Coordinate with projects to facilitate the field data collection work undertaken by the third-party

independent agency.

3. Support the monitoring team for any pilot testing or pre-testing for Edtech-based monitoring innovations.

Planning and execution of various impact assessments and impact evaluations

1. Co-ordination with funder and third-party agency representatives for onboarding and execution of

assessment as per multi-stakeholder plan

2. Internal coordination with project teams for execution of impact evaluation as per the completion of the

three-year project life cycle.

Reporting of Field Activities:

1. Monthly field visit log and report submission to manager

2. Reporting of data quality assurance and gaps identified during field visits.

3. Weekly coordination and compliance report while working with the third-party independent agencies.

Capacity building and training support for project teams

1. Organize and conduct field research data collection training and techniques for project field staff.

2. Participate in project trainings/orientations/MIS/data review to strengthen the research and evaluation

design.

3. Training of the project data team on the standards of research and evaluation processes.
