About this role
We are seeking an Analyst to support operational & servicing activities for a US-based banking client. The role is responsible for supporting transaction processing, cash management, treasury services, payment operations, account maintenance, and client servicing activities for US regional and commercial banking customers. The role ensures timely execution of transactions while adhering to regulatory, compliance, and operational risk requirements. In addition, the role includes reviewing and validating work completed by junior team members to ensure quality and accuracy.
Roles and responsibilities
- Facilitate account opening, maintenance, and documentation requests
- Support onboarding activities for new commercial banking customers
- Support products including ACH, Wire Transfers, loans, deposit & overdraft
- Support KYC, AML, CIP, and other compliance-related activities
- Respond to client inquiries related to accounts, treasury services, loans, payments, and digital banking platforms
- Participate in audits, reviews, and quality assurance activities
- Perform daily reconciliations across GL, settlement, and suspense accounts; identify and log variances
- Review of daily reports like overdraft, DDA, SAV, SDB & CD
Experience and qualification
- 2 to 5 years of experience in Commercial Banking & Banking Operations
- Familiarity with commercial lending products and loan servicing processes
- Hands-on experience in Fiserv, DNA & AFS Vision
- Good understanding Loan, deposit & retails products.
- Degree in finance, commerce, accounting or a related field
- Proficiency in Excel; clear written communication
