Research Analyst

Roles and Responsibilities :

• Conduct reservoir simulation studies to optimize oil recovery and improve field development plans.
• Collaborate with geologists, engineers, and other stakeholders to identify opportunities for enhanced recovery methods such as hydraulic fracturing (fracking) or steam injection.
• Develop and maintain accurate models of reservoir behavior using software tools like Eclipse or Petrel.
• Provide technical guidance on well placement strategies, completions designs, and production optimization techniques.

Job Requirements :

• 2-7 years of experience in reservoir engineering or a related field.
• Strong understanding of upstream oil & gas industry practices and regulations.
• Proficiency in at least one major reservoir simulation software package (e.g., Eclipse, Petrel).
• Bachelor's degree in Geology, Engineering (Mechanical/Chemical), Mathematics or Statistics; Master's degree preferred.
