Role & responsibilities

Release Monitoring & Triage (RDK-B/RDK-C)
Responsible for firmware rollout monitoring, telemetry and KPI analysis, regression detection, defect management, release readiness reviews, and Issue triage for RDK-B broadband and RDK-C camera platforms.
Monitor firmware rollouts across deployment gates and assess production readiness.
Review device health metrics, telemetry markers, crash trends, and connectivity KPIs.
Analyze new releases against LKG builds to identify software regressions.
Investigate telemetry anomalies and customer-impacting issues using Datadog, ELK, RH, and device logs.
Create and manage Jira defects with impact analysis and supporting data.
Perform root cause analysis and coordinate issue resolution with development teams.
Review release blockers and mitigation plans for gate progression approval.
Conduct large-scale trend analysis to evaluate software changes and RFC deployments.
Validate software fixes through pilot deployments, rollback assessments, and post-deployment monitoring.
Collaborate with Development, QA, and Platform teams to maintain release health.
Prepare release review reports highlighting risks, KPIs, regressions, and recommendations.
Support production incident management through issue triage and rollback recommendations.
Present deployment findings and data-driven rollout recommendations to stakeholders.
Detect critical firmware regressions and prevent production impact during rollout expansion.
Track high-priority defects and drive timely resolution to improve software quality.
Enable go/no-go deployment decisions through KPI and trend-based analysis.
Proactively identify anomalies and coordinate corrective actions to improve release stability.
