Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Relationship Manager role based in Hyderabad. The Relationship Manager will manage and grow customer relationships by understanding credit and financial needs, recommending suitable products, and ensuring a smooth end-to-end loan journey. Responsibilities include handling customer queries, supporting application and documentation processes, coordinating with internal underwriting and operations teams, and proactively following up to ensure timely disbursals and high customer satisfaction. The role also involves monitoring portfolio performance, identifying cross-sell and up-sell opportunities, and sharing customer feedback with product and risk teams to improve offerings and service quality. The Relationship Manager is expected to maintain compliance with regulatory and company policies while meeting assigned service and business targets.
Qualifications
- Strong customer relationship management and client service skills, with the ability to build trust and maintain long-term engagements.
- Sound understanding of consumer lending, personal finance products, and basic credit assessment concepts.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including clear verbal and written communication in English; proficiency in local languages is an advantage.
- Solid problem-solving, negotiation, and conflict-resolution abilities to handle escalations and complex customer situations.
- Comfort with digital tools, CRM systems, and data entry, along with strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment, manage multiple cases simultaneously, and prioritize effectively.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; prior experience in banking, NBFCs, or financial services sales/relationship management is preferred.
