Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Relationship Manager role based in Rajkot. The Relationship Manager is responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of retail and/or business banking customers, ensuring high-quality service and long-term client relationships. Day-to-day activities include understanding customer financial needs, recommending appropriate banking products, cross-selling services, and assisting clients with account, loan, and investment-related queries. The role involves regular customer interactions, maintaining accurate documentation, tracking portfolio performance, and adhering to regulatory and internal compliance standards. The Relationship Manager collaborates closely with branch teams and other business units to drive customer satisfaction, deposit and asset growth, and overall branch profitability.
Qualifications

• Strong customer relationship management abilities, including proactive engagement, needs assessment, and service follow-through.
• Sales and business development skills, with experience in cross-selling banking products such as accounts, loans, cards, and investment solutions.
• Solid understanding of retail and/or business banking operations, basic credit principles, and regulatory and compliance requirements.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with diverse customer segments and internal stakeholders.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret customer data, monitor portfolio performance, and resolve client issues efficiently.
• Ability to work in a target-driven, on-site branch environment, demonstrating resilience, ownership, and ethical conduct.
• Bachelor's degree in finance, business, commerce, or a related field; prior experience in banking or financial services is preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Office and basic digital banking tools; familiarity with local market dynamics in Rajkot will be an advantage.
