Role Description The Relationship Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Vellore, responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of customers. The role involves identifying prospective clients, understanding their financial needs, and recommending suitable products and solutions from Godrej Finance and Godrej Housing Finance. The Relationship Manager will conduct regular meetings and follow-ups, ensure high service quality, and maintain long-term relationships that drive customer satisfaction and business growth. Daily tasks include coordinating with internal teams for approvals and disbursements, monitoring account performance, and adhering to compliance and risk management guidelines. The role also requires preparing reports, tracking sales targets, and participating in local market outreach to expand the customer base.
Qualifications

• Strong customer relationship management and client servicing skills, with the ability to build trust and maintain long-term partnerships.
• Sales, business development, and negotiation abilities relevant to retail and MSME lending or related financial products.
• Understanding of credit assessment, basic financial analysis, and risk awareness in lending environments.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills, along with active listening and presentation capabilities.
• Proficiency in using CRM tools, MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), and digital platforms for managing customer data and reporting.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Commerce, Economics, or a related field; an MBA or postgraduate qualification in a relevant discipline is an advantage.
• Prior experience in banking, NBFCs, housing finance, or financial services in a customer-facing role is preferred.
• Ability to work in a target-driven environment, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and demonstrate high ethical standards and integrity.
