Role Description The Relationship Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Vishakhapatnam, responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of life insurance customers and distribution partners. This position involves building long-term relationships, understanding client financial needs, and recommending appropriate insurance and protection solutions. The role includes regular customer meetings, follow-ups on policy applications and renewals, and ensuring high standards of service and satisfaction. The Relationship Manager will collaborate with internal teams to support sales targets, handle queries and escalations, conduct product presentations, and promote ABSLI's range of life insurance and investment products. The role also requires maintaining accurate records, adhering to regulatory and company guidelines, and contributing to local market development initiatives.
Qualifications

• Strong relationship management, customer service, and client engagement skills, with the ability to build trust and long-term partnerships.
• Sales, negotiation, and business development abilities, including experience in achieving targets and identifying new business opportunities.
• Knowledge of life insurance, financial products, and basic financial planning concepts; prior experience in insurance, banking, or financial services is an advantage.
• Effective communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with proficiency in explaining complex products in a clear and accessible manner.
• Organizational and time management skills, including maintaining documentation, managing follow-ups, and working efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, commerce, or a related field preferred; relevant professional certifications in insurance or financial services are a plus.
• Comfort working on-site in Vishakhapatnam, with readiness for field visits, client meetings, and close coordination with branch and regional teams.
