Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Relationship Manager role based in Kanpur. The Relationship Manager will be responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of customers, ensuring high levels of service, and maintaining strong, long-term relationships. Daily activities include engaging with customers to understand their insurance needs, recommending appropriate Bajaj General products, and supporting them through the policy lifecycle, including onboarding, renewals, and claims coordination. The role involves working closely with internal teams and advisors to resolve customer queries, ensure timely communication, and maintain accurate records in line with company standards. The Relationship Manager will also monitor customer satisfaction, identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling, and contribute to local business growth and brand reputation.

Qualifications

• Strong customer relationship management and client servicing skills, with the ability to build trust and maintain long-term partnerships.
• Sales and business development capabilities, including opportunity identification, cross-selling, upselling, and achieving defined targets.
• Communication and interpersonal skills, with proficiency in explaining insurance products clearly and handling customer concerns effectively.
• Organizational and follow-up skills to manage multiple customer accounts, track renewals, and support claims and policy servicing efficiently.
• Basic understanding of general insurance products and principles; prior experience in insurance or financial services is an advantage.
• Comfort with using digital tools, CRM systems, and MS Office for documentation, reporting, and customer interaction.
• Bachelor's degree in business, commerce, finance, or a related field preferred; equivalent practical experience will also be considered.
• Ability to work on-site in Kanpur, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and adhere to regulatory and company compliance standards.
