Relationship Manager

Role & Responsibilities

• Acquire, develop, and manage High-Value Current Accounts to drive CASA growth and overall portfolio profitability.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with HNI, affluent, and high-value customers, understanding their financial needs and providing customized banking solutions.
• Generate and manage Trade Finance and Forex business, including import/export transactions, foreign exchange, remittances, and related banking services.
• Identify and acquire new HNI, corporate, business, and high-value clients through networking, market mapping, referrals, and business development activities.
• Drive CASA, deposits, fee income, Trade Finance, Forex, and cross-sell opportunities across the customer portfolio.
• Cross-sell and up-sell relevant banking products, including loans, investments, insurance, wealth management, Trade Finance, and Forex solutions.
• Develop relationships with business owners, corporates, exporters, importers, professionals, and HNI clients to generate new business opportunities.
• Manage the complete customer relationship lifecycle, from acquisition and onboarding to portfolio growth and retention.
• Monitor customer profitability, transaction volumes, business potential, and portfolio performance.
• Coordinate with internal teams such as Trade Finance, Forex, Credit, Operations, and Wealth Management to deliver seamless solutions.
• Ensure adherence to KYC, AML, regulatory, and internal banking policies.
• Achieve assigned targets for customer acquisition, CASA, deposits, revenue, Trade Finance, Forex, and portfolio growth.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Graduate/Postgraduate with 512 years of relevant experience in banking, financial services, relationship management, or business development.
• Proven experience in managing and acquiring High-Value Current Accounts, HNI, affluent, and corporate customers.
• Strong experience in Trade Finance and Forex, including import/export transactions, foreign exchange, remittances, and related banking processes.
• Good understanding of CASA, deposits, lending, Trade Finance, Forex, investments, and other fee-based banking products.
• Demonstrated ability to acquire new clients and build a strong high-value customer portfolio.
• Existing relationships/network with HNI clients, business owners, corporates, exporters, importers, and high-value customers will be an added advantage.
• Strong business development, networking, negotiation, and relationship-management skills.
• Ability to understand customer requirements and provide appropriate and customized financial solutions.
• Strong commercial acumen with a proven track record of achieving business and revenue targets.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage confidently with HNI, corporate, and senior business clients.
• Strong knowledge of banking compliance, KYC, AML, and regulatory requirements.
• Target-oriented, self-driven, and capable of independently managing a high-value portfolio while identifying new business opportunities.
