Design Coordinator / Draftsman

Role Overview

We are looking for a Design Coordinator / Draftsman who will support the senior management team and assist in coordinating design, estimation, documentation, and site-related activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and coordinate architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.
• Prepare, review, and coordinate BOQs, estimates, and quantity calculations.
• Ensure drawings and design documents are accurate and aligned with project requirements.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, vendors, and internal teams for design-related requirements.
• Identify discrepancies in drawings and coordinate for timely resolution.
• Conduct site visits to understand project progress and verify drawings/design requirements.
• Maintain proper documentation and records of drawings, BOQs, estimates, and revisions.
• Provide regular updates to the senior management team on design and site-related matters.
• Assist in follow-ups and coordination for timely execution of project requirements.

Candidate Profile

• 4–7 years of relevant experience in Design Coordination / Drafting / Construction / Real Estate.
• Good knowledge of BOQ preparation, estimation, quantity take-off, and drawing review.
• Ability to understand and interpret technical drawings.
• Willingness to travel for regular site visits as required.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Presentable, professional, proactive, and confident personality.
• Strong follow-up and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and coordinate effectively with multiple stakeholders.

Preferred: Candidates with experience in real estate, construction, or developer organizations will be preferred.
