Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Relationship Manager role based in Mangaluru. The Relationship Manager will be responsible for acquiring and servicing individual and corporate health insurance customers, building strong long-term relationships, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. Daily activities include explaining product features and benefits, conducting needs-based assessments, supporting customers through the proposal and policy issuance process, and coordinating with internal teams for underwriting, claims, and policy servicing. The role involves achieving sales and retention targets, maintaining updated records in CRM tools, and participating in local marketing or engagement initiatives. The Relationship Manager will also handle customer queries and escalations professionally, while promoting ABHICL's wellness and chronic care programs to enhance customer value.
Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong relationship management and customer service skills, including the ability to build trust, manage expectations, and handle queries and escalations effectively.
• Candidates should possess sales and business development capabilities, such as prospecting, negotiation, closing skills, and experience working with targets in financial services or insurance.
• Candidates should possess communication and interpersonal skills, including clear verbal and written communication, presentation abilities, and active listening.
• Candidates should possess basic analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand customer profiles, recommend suitable products, and interpret policy and claim-related information.
• Candidates should possess organizational and operational skills, including time management, attention to detail, and comfort with digital tools, CRM systems, and standard office software.
• A bachelor's degree in any discipline, preferably with experience in health insurance, banking, financial services, or healthcare, is beneficial.
• Knowledge of local language(s), familiarity with the Mangaluru market, and an understanding of health insurance products and regulations will be an added advantage.
