Regulations & Norms Engineer

Responsibilities

• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure products, technologies, projects and transactions meet applicable trade control and sanctions requirements.
• Regulatory Compliance: Review regulatory requirements and identify their applicability to business activities.
• Risk Assessment: Assess product/technology, jurisdiction, end-use, end-user and transaction-related risks and identify potential restrictions or licensing requirements.
• Risk Assessment: Support appropriate controls and escalation of high-risk cases.
• Technical Assessments: Review Export Control Questionnaires and product/technology data for classification and compliance assessment.
• Stakeholder Coordination: Coordinate with R&D PTM/PM, internal AREG team on Export Control Sanctions matters.
• Stakeholder Coordination: Provide guidance to R&D PTM on applicable trade control requirements.
• Regulatory Change & Improvement: Monitor changes in export control regulations, sanctions lists and restrictions to assess their business impact and support timely implementation.
• Regulatory Change & Improvement: Identify compliance gaps and recommend process improvements.
• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain assessment records, screening evidence, regulatory change records & KPIs.
• Documentation & Reporting: Ensure compliance documentation is accurate and properly controlled.
