Regional Sales Manager

Job Brief:

We are looking for an experienced Regional Sales Manager to drive business growth in the Government Vertical across Mumbai and Goa. The role focuses on managing government accounts, handling tenders, and achieving sales targets through institutional and project-based business. The candidate should have strong experience in B2B and government sales, including tendering, key account management, and team handling.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute regional sales plans aligned with business objectives
• Drive government and institutional sales through tenders, contracts, and projects
• Build and maintain strong relationships with government departments, PSUs, and institutional clients
• Identify and track upcoming government projects and business opportunities
• Manage channel partners and support project execution where required
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts and budgets
• Monitor team performance and guide them to achieve sales targets
• Analyze market trends and generate business intelligence for growth
• Coordinate with internal teams for smooth execution of orders and projects
• Handle escalations and ensure timely resolution of issues

Requirements & Skills:

• Proven experience in government / institutional sales at a regional level
• Strong knowledge of tendering process, GeM portal, and government procurement systems
• Ability to manage key accounts and large-scale projects
• Strong analytical skills with ability to track KPIs and performance metrics
• Good network with government bodies and decision-makers
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and CRM tools
• Willingness to travel across Mumbai and Goa

Experience Required:

• 10+ years of experience in B2B / government / project sales
• Prior experience in handling government tenders and institutional clients
