About this role
The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales growth, managing regional sales operations, and leading a team of Area / Territory Sales Managers. The role focuses on achieving revenue targets, expanding market presence, strengthening channel partnerships, and ensuring execution of company sales strategies within the assigned region.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement regional sales strategies aligned with organizational goals
- Achieve regional sales targets in terms of revenue, volume, and market share
- Lead, mentor, and manage Area Sales Managers and Sales Executives
- Monitor distributor, dealer, and channel partner performance
- Expand distribution network and identify new business opportunities
- Conduct regular market visits to assess competition and customer needs
- Analyze sales data, forecasts, and market trends to drive decisions
- Ensure timely collections and manage regional credit controls
- Coordinate with marketing, supply chain, and finance teams
- Prepare MIS reports, sales reviews, and performance dashboards
- Ensure compliance with company policies and processes
