Purpose

To generate business and revenue for the hotel's portfolio from the Chennai and South India market through corporate, travel trade and MICE segments.

Key Responsibilities: -

• Generate room and F&B business from the Chennai market.
• Develop and maintain relationships with corporate clients, travel agents and key accounts.
• Identify new business opportunities and generate leads.
• Handle corporate and MICE enquiries and coordinate with respective hotels.
• Conduct regular sales calls, client meetings and market visits.
• Drive business from local corporate, travel trade and MICE accounts.
• Monitor competitor activities and market trends.
• Prepare sales reports and forecasts.
• Coordinate with hotel Sales, Revenue and Operations teams to achieve targets.

Requirements: -

• Graduate/MBA in Sales & Marketing preferred.
• 12+ years of experience in Hotel Sales / Regional Sales.
• Strong experience in Chennai corporate and travel trade market preferred.
• Good communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Strong network of corporate clients and travel agents will be an advantage.
