About this role
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Regional Sales Manager - Mid-Enterprise Healthcare - Central based in the United States.
This role offers the opportunity to drive growth across a portfolio of mid-enterprise healthcare organizations throughout the Central United States. You will own the full sales cycle, from prospecting and developing executive relationships to product demonstrations, negotiations, and closing new business. The position requires a sophisticated consultative selling approach across complex healthcare environments with multiple technical, clinical, financial, and operational stakeholders. You will engage senior decision-makers and help organizations address critical access, security, and technology challenges through tailored solutions. Working closely with solution engineering and internal teams, you will develop account strategies, advance opportunities, and expand revenue within established customers and partners. Success will be measured through consistent quota attainment, accurate forecasting, strong pipeline development, and the ability to build lasting customer relationships. Accountabilities: Consistently exceed assigned booking quota targets while maintaining accurate and timely sales forecasts in Salesforce.
Identify, prospect, and develop new business opportunities across assigned mid-enterprise healthcare accounts in the Central United States.
Strategically target and gain access to senior decision-makers and key influencers within prospective customer organizations.
Develop and execute comprehensive account strategies for major accounts and high-value opportunities within the assigned territory.
Lead complex, multi-stakeholder sales processes involving IT leadership, clinical leadership, security, finance, compliance, revenue cycle, business office, and patient accounts teams.
Build relationships with senior healthcare executives, including CIOs, CMIOs, CMOs, CNIOS, CNOs, and Chief Information Security Officers.
Conduct discovery conversations to understand customer needs, business priorities, challenges, and decision-making processes.
Coordinate product demonstrations and evaluation activities in partnership with Solution Engineering teams.
Negotiate commercial agreements and contracts while effectively managing the sales cycle through to successful close.
Partner cross-functionally to leverage existing account relationships, secure customer resources, resolve issues, and accelerate opportunities.
Identify opportunities to expand revenue within existing customers and partner relationships throughout the territory.
Accurately capture, maintain, and communicate relevant opportunity, account, and pipeline information within Salesforce.
Collaborate with internal teams to support customer success and ensure opportunities progress efficiently.
Perform additional responsibilities as required to support regional sales objectives and broader business priorities.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
10+ years of experience selling technology solutions within the healthcare industry.
Demonstrated track record of consistently exceeding booking quotas and maintaining reliable, accurate sales forecasts.
Proven experience selling complex technology solutions to multiple stakeholders within healthcare organizations.
Strong executive-level selling experience, with the ability to establish credibility and influence senior decision-makers.
Experience engaging stakeholders across IT, clinical, security, finance, compliance, revenue cycle, business office, and patient accounts functions.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, combined with strong presentation, negotiation, objection-handling, and closing abilities.
Excellent prospecting and business development skills, with the ability to identify opportunities and develop them into qualified sales engagements.
Strong account planning and strategic selling capabilities, particularly within complex enterprise or mid-enterprise environments.
Excellent time management, organization, prioritization, and decision-making skills.
Self-motivated and comfortable working autonomously while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
Strong customer relationship-building skills and a consultative approach to solving customer challenges.
Residence within the assigned Central U.S. territory.
Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% as required by customer and business needs.
Benefits
Total compensation range of $210,000–$320,000 , including base salary and variable compensation such as bonuses and incentives.
