Regional Sales & Application Engineer

Location: Delhi (Resident Engineer)

Work Mode: Work from Home with regular customer visits in and around Delhi / North India

Multi-Wing India is hiring a Regional Sales & Application Engineer for a techno-commercial role focused on driving double-digit growth in the assigned region. This is a resident engineer role, responsible for managing existing customers, developing new business, and providing application-based sales support for Multi-Wing products and solutions.

The role requires someone who can understand customer applications, recommend the right technical solution, and own the sales process from opportunity identification to order closure and payment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and grow business with existing customers in the assigned region, ensuring growth.
• Identify, approach, and develop new customers and applications for Multi-Wing products.
• Build and manage strong relationships with direct OEM customers, key decision-makers, and influencers.
• Understand customer applications and technical requirements, and recommend suitable fan and system solutions.
• Provide application engineering support during the sales process, including selection, sizing, and technical discussions.
• Manage the end-to-end sales cycle: lead generation, customer visits, technical and commercial discussions, proposal submission, negotiation, order closure, and payment follow-up.
• Prepare and present technical and commercial offers aligned with customer needs and company standards.
• Coordinate closely with internal teams (operations, supply chain, customer service, and finance) to ensure smooth execution and high customer satisfaction.
• Track and report market developments, competitor activity, sales pipeline, forecasts, and visit reports for the region.
• Support business development initiatives and other assigned projects related to growth in the region.

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 5 years of experience in technical sales, application engineering, or techno-commercial roles.
• Proven experience in direct OEM handling, preferably in off-road equipment or similar mechanical applications.
• Experience in selling mechanical or engineered products exposure to fans, HVAC, cooling systems, rotating equipment, etc would be an added advantage
• Strong technical understanding combined with good commercial acumen.
• Good communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Self-driven, structured, and comfortable working independently as a resident engineer in a field-oriented role.
• Willingness to travel regularly within the region.
