Regional RCU Manager

Job Purpose

To establish and maintain Risk Management Framework that enables identification, assessment, mitigation, measurement, monitoring and reporting of key risks for M/s Avanse Global Finance IFSC Private Ltd (https://www.avanseglobal.com), a wholly owned subsidiary of M/s Avanse Financial Servies Ltd.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Risk function at Avanse Global and help build scalable and effective processes to help launch new categories of products
• Develop Risk framework for the Company, addressing the following:
• Credit risk
• Fraud risk management
• Information security and Data privacy
• Regulatory, legal, reputational other risks
• Business operations risks
• Ensuring availability of incident database, issues and action tracker, risk register and KRI data for businesses. Reporting of data points related to Risk Based Supervision and other compliances.
• Lead and measure people, process, system / technical and external event related risks.
• Measurement and reporting of Risk across various functions of the Organization and work with respective functions to mitigate them - through policy, process and technology.
• Participate in discussions and bring in the Risk perspective to business operations, customer experience, partnerships, legal, technology and new initiatives.
• Closely engage with key stakeholders (Senior management, regulatory and compliance authorities)
• Build Risk Culture in the organization through trainings and awareness campaign in first line of defense functions

Key Accountabilities

• Credit Policy designing, drafting and sign-off
• Other Policies related to Risk Management such as Fraud Risk Management, Outsourcing Policy, Risk Management Policy, Transfer of Loan Exposure, Co-origination and Co-lending arrangements.
• Portfolio Monitoring and Tracking of asset quality
• Monthly & Quarterly risk presentations for Senior Management and Board reviews
• Risk assessment of Processes and Policies

Required Experience

• 8-15 years of experience with at least 8 years in Risk Management, preferably with NBFC / Banks
• Experience in B2C products is mandatory, with a broad range of products offered (secured, unsecured) - especially SME, LAP, Home loan etc.

Required Qualification

• CA/MBA preferred

Technical Competencies

• Strong Knowledge of regulatory Framework for NBFC and Banks is a must along with experience in management of Credit Risks, Operational Risk and Technology risk.
• Expert ability to analyze a complex set of data and able to extract information critical to quantifying the potential risk to the organization
• Knowledge of regulations issued by International Financial Services Centres Authority (IFSCA) and digital transactions framework and data protection / preferred privacy regulations
